WAM Microcap provides investors access to a portfolio of undervalued micro-cap growth companies with a market capitalisation of less than $300 million at the time of acquisition. WAM Microcap also provides exposure to relative value arbitrage and market mispricing opportunities. WAM Microcap’s investment objectives are to deliver a stream of fully franked dividends, provide capital growth over the medium-to-long term and preserve capital.

Geoff Wilson

Geoff Wilson has over 37 years’ direct experience in investment markets having held a variety of senior investment roles in Australia, the UK and the US. Geoff founded Wilson Asset Management in 1997. Geoff created Australia’s first listed philanthropic wealth creation vehicles, Future Generation Investment Company Limited and Future Generation Global Investment Company Limited. Geoff is Chairman of WAM Capital, WAM Leaders, WAM Research, WAM Active and WAM Microcap. Geoff is also a Director of Century Australia Investments Limited. Geoff holds a number of additional directorships with investment companies and non-profit organisations.

Jacqueline Sullivan

Independent Director

Jacqui has 30 years’ funds management experience gained in a number of senior executive roles across the Australian and global AMP Capital businesses. In that time, Jacqui led global distribution of AMP Capital with a focus on expansion into Asia, North America and Europe. As Head of Product, Jacqui led the development of range of multi-manager products, listed funds, real assets and hedge funds. Jacqui holds a Bachelor of Science, MBA, Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).

Kate Thorley

Non-independent Director

Kate Thorley has more than 12 years’ experience in the funds management industry and more than 18 years of financial accounting and corporate governance experience. Kate is the Chief Executive Officer of Wilson Asset Management, Director of WAM Capital, WAM Leaders, WAM Research, WAM Active, WAM Microcap and Future Generation Investment Company. Kate is also the Company Secretary of Future Generation Global Investment Company.

Chris Stott

Non-independent Director

Chris Stott has more than 14 years’ experience in the funds management industry. Chris joined Wilson Asset Management in 2006 after being employed with Challenger Financial Services Group in various research roles specialising in Australian equities. Chris is a Director of WAM Capital, WAM Leaders, WAM Research, WAM Active, WAM Microcap and Century Australia Investments. Chris is Wilson Asset Management’s Chief Investment Officer and the Portfolio Manager responsible for WAM Capital, WAM Research, WAM Active and WAM Microcap.
