Wilson Asset Management’s large cap investment fund, WAM Leaders, is asking shareholders for $241.2 million at $1.44 a share.

The deal was structured as a one-for-five entitlement offer and priced at a 7.7 per cent discount to the last close and launched on Tuesday morning.

The price was in line with the fund’s net tangible asset value. The offer was due to open on July 22.

The raising is targeted at WAM Leaders’ existing investors. Any rights not taken up will be sold in a bookbuild managed by Taylor Collison.
