WAM Income Maximiser (ASX: WMX) ends its first full financial year with an impressive 19.2 per cent return in the 12 months to 30 June 2026 – beating its benchmark by 13.4 per cent and doing so with 17.1 per cent less volatility.

The fund also exceeds its income target, delivering an annualised fully franked dividend yield of 6.9 per cent – including franking credits – against a target of 6.3 per cent.

Chairman Geoff Wilson AO says the result reflects “disciplined execution” and praises lead portfolio manager Matthew Haupt and his team. Haupt says the year was “defined by heightened uncertainty” but that shifting conditions “created significant opportunities across both equity and debt markets for active investors able to adapt.”

Since inception in April 2025, the portfolio has returned 17.8 per cent per annum, outperforming its benchmark by 7.6 per cent per annum.
